Paradise Television Network (PTN) was started on Maui in the early 1980's by Jim Kartes. As the production and broadcast company behind The Visitor Channel 7, PTN has set the highest standards for its informational programming. Unlike typical television viewers, our audience is actively seeking us out for ways to spend their time and money while vacationing on Maui.
Over the years, The Visitor Channel 7 has become the standard for tourist related information. Today, we remain the state's largest channel devoted to tourism and the most widely used information source for quality visitor information on Maui.
In 2008 PTN started "Scenic Hawaii," featuring all that's beautiful about Hawai'i. Scenic Hawaii is Hawaii's only statewide, locally produced, high definition channel. With over 150,000 subscribers as of July 2009, Scenic Hawaii provides a soothing alternative to the chaos of today's world.
PTN's team of producers, editors, and sales staff are experts in the visitor industry. With a media library of over 2500 hours of breathtaking footage from Maui and the other Hawaiian Islands, an on-staff camera crew, and a state-of-the-art production and editing studio, we are the best resource available to help you meet all of your marketing needs.
