Fed through Oceanic Cable to all six Hawaiian Islands, Scenic Hawaii is a testament to the awesome beauty of our islands and our continued dedication to maintaining quality programming. How We Work, The Visitor Channel…Ch 7. Visitor Channel 7’s programming is roughly a four-hour loop that plays six times daily. The program features a two-hour tour of Maui, showing visitors where to go and what to see; a one-hour program highlighting dining; and a one-hour activity segment to help viewers decide what to do while on vacation, and more importantly, where to spend their money. Because we design all the programming, our clients have the flexibility to run commercials of any length. We charge a monthly fee for these ads, based on the length of the spot, with each advertising client receiving 180 commercials monthly. For example, if your commercial is 50 seconds long, and our monthly rack rate is $60, then 50 sec x $60 is $3000 per month for 180 commercials. Currently, this rate is negotiable. The thing to keep in mind about Visitor Advertising is Visitors are not here long enough for branding to work. You have to provide enough information to immediately trigger their impulse. That’s why we specialize in editorial-style commercials and we can run a spot at whatever length it takes to get the best information across to your potential customers. How We Work, Scenic Hawaii. Channel 1000 is a six-hour program, playing four times a day. Rates are calculated per second, multiplied by the length of the commercial, which runs 120 times each month. And just like Channel 7, your commercial can run at any length you desire.
