Jim Kartes is the owner of The Visitor Channel 7 and Paradise Television Network. For over 15 years he's been the "Voice" of island information. He's also tasted his fair share of Opakapaka. Jim's a very busy guy. Besides his on-air responsibilities, Jim's other companies (Maui X Stream & Scenic Hawaii) keep him pretty busy. If you do see him, say "Hi!"
Kelli McManus-Rau hosts the Entertainment and Great Gifts segments. When she started working at Paradise Television seven years ago, we doubt she imagined herself twirling shopping bags on-air. But we saw her gift and knew we had to share it with the world. A native of the East Coast, she's fluent in most shopping dialects.
Celeste Akeo helps us to keep it real. Born and raised on Oahu, you'll see her throughout our programming. Besides letting you know what's happening each season on Maui, she gives a short fish tutorial during Dining on Maui. Unlike Jim, she looks good in a pareo with a flower behind her ear! Celeste was also an original member of the Ulalena cast as well as Maya in the Baywatch movie.
